Spent the last four days making tot pops for a sick and cranky toddler. Due to…er, circumstances (diarrhea), I had to put a spin on my old tot pop recipe since the pediatrician said no milk or yogurt until she was feeling better.
Luckily, I had Annabel Karmel’s pop sickle mold that I picked up a while ago. The grip-handles are great for tiny hands! While I have a few larger popsicle trays for when she gets older, these are much more toddler friendly.
I used strawberries and blueberries because it’s what I had on hand and my kid loooooves blueberries, but feel free to substitute if you want. This time I gave her pedialyte pops when she was sick with strep throat!
Here’s a quick recipe for four pops.
1 can frozen limeade…or substitute with some homemade pedialyte 😉
2-3 strawberries, diced
8 blueberries, whole or halved
a popsicle tray
1. Mix the can of limeade in a pitcher with 2 cans of water
2. Put some fruit in the popsickle tray
3. Fill tray with limeade and freeze until hardened. This little tray froze in 2-3 hours.
